London computer and laptop rental
Hire Tech Solutions is able to provide short-term computer and laptop rental with delivery and set-up direct to a London office, or an offsite location in the City.
We work with City institutions who have a large workforce. Computer training is important to them.
Examples of training scenarios include:
- Induction e.g. for a new graduate intake.
- New software roll-out e.g. CRM or accounts.
- A major software upgrade e.g. from Microsoft.
We are reminded of the phrase about investing in people. “What happens if we train-up our people and they are then attracted away to competitors?” The answer being. “What happens if we don’t train them, and they end up staying?!”
For our clients training is as important, as the efficient way the training room is set-up. At Hire Tech Solutions we provide a ‘turnkey’ solution. This means that the trainer and their training students arrive at the venue, everything is in place and ready to go.
For this to happen, we need to work-up a detailed set-up brief with the client ahead of time to include:
- Number of workstations
- Associated items e.g. printers
- Specification of technology equipment
- Presentation and AV requirements of the trainer
- Set-up of the room
- Workstation set-up, software and branding considerations
- Whether a technician is needed throughout
- Time allocated for set-up and break down of the room
- Details about the venue, delivery and drop-off considerations (this is London in 2024!)
Depending on the requirements we may set up the evening before or on the morning of the first training session. We use our own people to deliver and collect. Equipment is packed in flight cases (or similar sturdy packaging) because we believe in protecting all of our equipment for the benefit of clients. We will always allow enough time for testing and for providing any re-assurance that the client needs ahead of time.
